Udayan Bhanot
Co-Founder & CEO
Udayan started his professional career as a CPA, running medium to large Multi nationals in the fields of communications (Motorola) and energy (Siemens), for many years. It was later in his life that he discovered his love and joy in electrical engineering.
That was when he embarked on this journey, in the field of electrical eng. amply supported by his family. He built a business in Renewable Energy (then known as iEnergytech, later divested to FlowPower) and also started an electrical apprenticeship, working with electricians on site.
He completed his Electrical apprenticeship (A-Grade) followed by his training in Design & Install of Grid-connect and Battery systems.
Udayan has been involved in multiple award-winning projects in Australia, sometimes only as a designer, and sometimes as a designer/installer.
Udayan is keen to continue exploring this affinity of his, with his long-standing colleagues, and looks forward to continuing to provide innovative and industry-leading solutions as the team builds its skills and grow its capacities.
Bhajan Plahe
Co-Founder and CFO
Bhajan has held various roles in the finance, project management and business development areas of the Energy industry since 1998.
She co-founded a leading EPC business in 2009, which gradually became a benchmark in Australia.
In 2022, with her divestment from that business, she co-founded UB Energy Pty Ltd.
She is an FCCA (UK) and brings decades of experience to the finance and accounting functions.
Mark Deutschbein
Technical Consultant
Mark (far right in the image receiving his award from the CEC in 2015) has been with the team since 2010, and was a key part of the development of the quality standards, and the auditing standards of the work we have done in the industry.
Mark was involved in all our auditing work, including IKEA, which, together with Udayan were made safer.
Mark is an A-grade electrician, grid- and off-grid accredited designer and installer, with extensive experience in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
Our Team
Most if not all our core team comprises electricians, or engineers. This starts at the top, with our Managing Director. Our love and passion for the industry is reflected in the people who make up the team, each of whom has an umatched track record in his/her skill set.
Graham Bardell-Williams
Sales & Business Development
Graham has worked with the team since 2016; he was drawn to the high quality standards that were espoused by the core team: Udayan, Bhajan, Mark Deutschbein, Mark Fanning and Mark Richards.
These standards of work set new benchmarks in the industry and Graham was happy to be part of such a team.
He has been in the solar PV industry since 2010 supporting customers, small and large, with solar PV solutions for their homes and businesses.
Graham also enjoys being out in the field and likes to 'put his money where his mouth is'! Here he is, helping install a 10kWp on a single-storey property.

Mark Fanning
Senior Electrician & Head of Projects
In December of 2010 Udayan sold his first solar system in Australia. That system, a residential one, was installed by Mark Fanning.
And to this day, Mark Fanning has continued to be a part of the team. Mark Fanning is an A-Grade Electrician; an SAA-accredited solar PV Grid-Connect, Energy Storage, and Off Grid. In addition Mark is a BSc in Civil Engineering.
Mark looks after a number of aspects of site works and brings an enormous amount of hands-on experience to the team.
He subscribes fully to our ethos on quality and has received two CEC awards for systems that were in part, or fully, designd by Udayan Bhanot and Mark Deutschbein.
Mark Richards
Senior Electrician and Head of Audits
Mark Richards has worked with the team since 2010; He has been a mentor to Udayan, supporting him through his journey in gaining his A-grade!
Mark has also been invovled in audits which were carried out by this team (previously under the banner of iEnergytech, since taken over by FlowPower,in 2022), for customers such as Hume City Council and other similar clients.
He is an A-grade electrician and an SAA accredited designer and installer.
